Minna de “Critique”! – Cooking & Recipes

Phew. It’s the morning, and while I should be sleepin’, I’m gonna continue at what I’ve planned, because the only way to be somethin’ is dedication. I don’t like half-assing things and leaving them incomplete, but I’m not a fast person by any means. I’m actually the slowest person there is around here.

Today’s みんなで”クリティーク” ~ minna de “critique” will be about the topic of food, for it is one of the fields I can feel really passionate about for absolutely no reason at all.
People eat food. What is food? Sustenance.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.
Food is life. If I give you a plate of food, I’m helping keeping you alive for another day.
There’s someone I recook and other-such for regularly. He deserves the best, and even had health problems that I helped remedy because of food. The Queen’s a neglectful bitch, and because of her, he had major problems, and had to deal with anemia.

*Anemia is a health problem that’s… as google says.. “a condition marked by a deficiency of red blood cells or of hemoglobin in the blood, resulting in pallor and weariness.”
Combined with nosebleeds, you’ve got a terrible storm. The biggest issue was, he wasn’t even getting enough Vitamin C.

Anyways… we must separate food into many categories. We must also know the basics. Why? Well, whenever I looked at recipes, I’d see idiots who literally don’t know what a recipe is for. You usually get how they followed “all the directions” and almost none ever say how “this recipe is a great base” or anything. (more…)

Pizza! 8-24 Edition

Pizza. It’s a classic. It’s also a favorite. Unfortunately for me, it’s a staple that I can actually create.

It’s actually pretty easy, especially with a $20 budget. All things purchased at Walmart, obviously could save a few here and there if I checked the other stores near by, but that’s tedious.
5 Lbs of bread flour, the gluten of bread flour is more or less what makes it bread.
Pepperoni, tomato sauces, and tomato paste.
Italian seasonings, oregano, basil, garlic, 2 diced tomatoes, and whatever else I’m forgetting.
